It is the first question almost everyone asks, usually right after the second question, which is whether it really works without needles. The honest answer depends entirely on temperature, because plasma is not one sensation. It is three.
Cold atmospheric plasma operates near room temperature. On the skin it feels like a cool current of air moving across the surface, and most clients describe it as genuinely pleasant. No numbing, no recovery, nothing to brace for. This is the energy behind our Skin Clarity work and the calming finish of most sessions.
The warm argon plasma in a Fusion Plasma session feels like focused warmth with a light prickling underneath it, closer to a warm stone gliding than to anything sharp. No numbing is needed. Many clients find the rhythm of it relaxing enough to close their eyes. Afterward, most people return to their day immediately; a few see mild redness for up to 48 hours.
Hot plasma is the most intensive point on the spectrum, so we treat comfort seriously. Numbing cream goes on 40 minutes before the session. During treatment you feel a warm pinprick at each arc point, brief and repetitive rather than sustained. Most clients rate it as very manageable; the real consideration with Fibroblast is not the session, it is the week after, which we describe honestly, day by day, in our downtime guide.
Body contouring sessions feel like steady warmth moving across the area, 45 to 60 minutes with no compression garments afterward. Scalp sessions feel like a warm scalp treatment, and more than one client has fallen asleep during them.

Sensation is managed the way results are managed: deliberately. Temperature settings, tip selection, pacing, and the cold-plasma finish that calms the skin at the end of a session are all part of the protocol, and your practitioner adjusts in real time. If something ever feels like more than described here, you say so and the settings change. That conversation is expected, not an interruption.
