The eyes are where skin gives first, and where people notice first. Fibroblast plasma tightens hooded upper lids, crepey under-eye skin, and crow's feet in one planned session, with no scalpel and no general anesthesia. At Awakened Skin + Body in North Miami Beach, every eye treatment is performed by our founder, a certified national trainer, and every photo on this page is a real, unretouched client.

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the face, which is why it loosens early and why so many people start researching an eye lift in their forties and fifties. Fibroblast plasma places a grid of controlled micro-points of plasma energy just above the skin. Nothing touches it, nothing cuts it. The surface contracts on the spot, and over the following months the skin builds new collagen and keeps tightening.
Around the eyes, that means lids that sit higher and read more open, under-eye skin that looks smoother instead of crepey, and softer crow's feet. The change you see in the mirror at week two keeps improving through month three to six.
It is the single most requested fibroblast area in our studio, and the one people most often consider while deciding whether they are ready for surgery. Many are not, and this is why they come to us.
One honest exception: true under-eye bags are usually a fat issue, not a skin issue, and skin tightening does not remove fat. If yours are the fat kind, we will tell you at the consultation instead of selling you the wrong treatment.
Blepharoplasty removes excess skin and fat with incisions, usually under sedation or general anesthesia. It delivers the largest change available, and for advanced hooding it is the right tool. It also comes with surgical numbers: the average surgeon's fee alone runs $3,359 for upper lids and $3,876 for lower lids per the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, patient-reported totals average around $6,300, and recovery involves incisions, bruising, and weeks of settling.
Fibroblast is the strongest option before that point. One session, a topical numbing cream instead of anesthesia, 6 to 8 days of social downtime, and no incisions. It tightens the skin you have rather than removing it, which is exactly what earlier-stage hooding and crepiness call for.
We do not perform surgery and we do not earn anything when you choose it, so the consultation answer is straight: fibroblast, a surgeon, or nothing yet. We wrote the full comparison, with all the numbers, here: fibroblast vs. surgery, honestly.

Eyelid skin is the thinnest skin fibroblast ever touches, and the margin for sloppiness is zero. That is why at Awakened it is never delegated. Every eye treatment is performed by our founder, Rachel Levy, a certified national trainer who teaches this method to other providers. Candidacy, including an honest skin-tone assessment, is confirmed before anything is booked.
