Scar Healing & Fibrosis

The body remembers.
It can also forget.

Surgical scars, C-sections, stretch marks, post-lipo fibrosis, BBL fibrosis — all healed tissue, all responding to plasma. We soften, resurface, and restore — without re-injuring the skin that's already been through enough.

What we treat

Restoration,
not removal.

Scars are healed tissue. Most "scar treatments" re-injure the skin to try to flatten it. Plasma works differently — it stimulates the same biology your body used to heal in the first place, but more efficiently. Softer texture. Lighter color. Better tone. Without breaking the skin again.

Most common

Surgical scars.
Softened and smoothed.

From plastic surgery, tummy tucks, breast reduction, breast augmentation, or any procedure that left a scar you'd rather not see. Plasma softens raised tissue, reduces redness, and improves texture over 1–4 sessions.

Mom favorite

C-section scars.
Reclaim the line.

C-section scars often leave a hard ridge, hyperpigmentation, and a slight overhang. Plasma flattens the ridge, evens the tone, and resurfaces the surrounding skin — restoring your stomach without revision surgery.

High volume

Stretch marks.
Pregnancy or weight changes.

Silver, red, or shiny stretch marks on the abdomen, thighs, breasts, or arms. Fusion Plasma triggers collagen production in the stretched tissue — improving both color and texture over a series of sessions.

Specialty

Post-lipo fibrosis.
Soften what hardened.

Hard, lumpy, or uneven tissue after liposuction — common, frustrating, and rarely addressed by the surgeon who did the work. Plasma softens fibrotic adhesions, restores normal tissue feel, and improves smoothness. No additional surgery.

Specialty

BBL fibrosis.
The fix after the lift.

Brazilian Butt Lifts can leave hardness, lumps, and asymmetry months after the procedure. We treat the fibrosis directly — softening tissue, improving contour, and restoring the result you paid for the first time.

Keloid-aware

Keloid softening.
Gently, patiently.

Raised, dense scar tissue — common on the chest, ears, and shoulders. Plasma softens keloids over multiple sessions without surgical excision. Best results on smaller, recent keloids; a free consultation determines candidacy.

The fibrosis specialty

After the procedure.
Before the regret.

Most clients who come to us for post-lipo or BBL fibrosis didn't know it was a possibility. The surgeon promised smooth, lifted results — they got hard ridges, uneven texture, and asymmetry. We are one of the few practices in Miami treating this specifically.

Post-procedural body restoration before and after

What plasma does to fibrosis.

  • Softens hardened adhesions in subcutaneous tissue
  • Restores circulation to fibrotic areas
  • Improves skin texture and smoothness
  • Reduces lumps, ridges, and asymmetry
  • Non-invasive — no surgery, no needles, no incisions
  • Most clients see meaningful improvement in 3–6 sessions
  • Pairs well with manual lymphatic drainage between sessions
Important

We only begin fibrosis treatment after your surgeon has cleared you for post-op care — typically 6–8 weeks post-procedure. Earlier intervention can interfere with healing.

How it works

Three things happen
at the same time.

01

Tissue softening

Warm and cold plasma energy penetrate fibrotic or scarred tissue, breaking down the dense collagen bundles that cause hardness, ridges, and texture irregularities.

02

Resurfacing

Plasma triggers controlled remodeling of the epidermis — smoothing pigmentation differences, refining texture, and restoring a uniform surface across the treated area.

03

Collagen rebuilding

For the next 6 months, your body produces new, organized collagen in the treated area — replacing the disorganized scar tissue with healthier, more flexible skin.

Questions we hear most

Honest answers.
Before you book.

How soon after surgery can I start treatment?

We require clearance from your surgeon, typically 6–8 weeks post-procedure for lipo and BBL. For C-section scars, generally 12+ weeks. Earlier intervention can interfere with healing. We will never treat fibrosis without your surgeon's sign-off.

How many sessions will I need?

Most fibrosis cases take 3–6 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Surgical scars typically need 1–4 sessions. Stretch marks vary by age and severity — newer, redder marks respond faster than older silver ones. We'll give you an honest estimate at consultation.

Is it painful?

Sensation varies by area. Most clients describe it as warm pressure or a mild prickling — manageable without anesthesia. For more sensitive areas or larger fibrotic regions, we apply topical numbing cream before treatment.

What's the downtime?

Most fibrosis and scar treatments have 0–2 days of mild swelling and redness — nothing visible if you wear normal clothes. Treatments on visible scars (face, decolletage) may show pinkness for 24–48 hours.

Do you treat keloids?

Smaller, recent keloids respond best. Large, established keloids — especially on the chest or shoulders — sometimes require a combined approach or referral. We'll be honest at consultation about what plasma can and can't do for your specific case.

Will it work for my skin tone?

Yes. Unlike laser resurfacing, plasma is safe across all Fitzpatrick skin types. Hyperpigmentation risk is lower because we don't use light energy, which is the main risk factor for darker skin tones.

How is this different from microneedling or laser scar treatment?

Microneedling and lasers create injuries to trigger healing. Plasma stimulates tissue remodeling without breaking the skin. Lower risk, faster recovery, and safer for the post-surgical tissue that's already been through trauma.
